Rose Hips, Why is it so good for you?

Rose Hips is the fruit of a rose. The rose plant can grow up to ten feet tall and bears a white fragrant flower. The hip of the flower is picked just after the petals have fallen off. You can find wild rose hips in South Africa and Chile.

The key benefits include:

  • Natural source of Vitamin E, which is an anti-inflammatory anti-oxidant that calms and hydrates dry and sensitive skin. It also helps protect skin cells from sun damage.
  • Natural source of essential fatty acids omega 3, 6 and 9 - which help repair and regenerate damaged skin tissue.
  • Natural source of Vitamin C, a skin brightening, anti-aging anti-oxidant that helps improve the appearance of pigmentation and restore skin's tone. It also helps protect skin from the sun.
  • Natural source of the powerful antioxidants lycopene, which helps improve skin texture and offer protection against premature aging, and beta-carotene, which helps prevent free-radical damage responsible for skin aging.

As you have read, the benefits of rose hips goes beyond hydration, which is why it's the star ingredient in many of our products. We only source the best, stay tuned for more ingredient highlights.

Cheers,

Lindsey Barber
