Our Serums are Better than Ever!
They’re baaaack!
A few months ago I pulled our eye and night serums from our inventory. It wasn’t that the products didn’t work or that there were any microbial issues, it just developed a “staleness” that was unacceptable to us.
We checked every raw material to make sure our vendors had changed nothing and did make some adjustments. Then we exhaustively tested blend after blend to make sure the stability was up to our standards. Finally we approved it and put it back in production.
The facts are that these are sophisticated, complicated blends using exotic and rare raw materials. And, the fact we will never use any chemicals to make the blending easier, makes it a challenge.
But, the effort is worth it. We get as many testimonials on these products as any in our line. Our clients see a real difference when using our Night Serum and Eye Serum. We had one woman who went as far as using our eye serum on one of her eyes while maintaining use of a very expensive, well known product on her other eye. She said she knew how superior Absolutely Natural’s product was when her grandson commented that her eagle claws under her one eye looked better. I guess her problem was beyond having crow’s feet!
For those of you new to our serums, the following is a summary of the feature and benfits of both.
While other companies tout 5, 10 or even 15% Vitamin C in their products, Absolutely Natural has 2% Vitamin C among the other fantastic ingredients that has made this product a favorite at some of our spas and retail. But it is the type of Vitamin C that makes it so unique and effective. Most companies use Vitamin C blended in a liquid and are allowed by law to put on their labels what percentage that blend is. I think that is deceptive.
At Absolutely Natural we use a very special Vitamin C called AA2G (Ascorbic Acid 2-Glucoside). This AA2G is stabilized with glucose and that has tremendous benefits for our clients. Regular Vitamin C products degrade when they attach to the C2 hydroxyl group which is the primary site of Vitamin C’s beneficial activity. Our product gradually releases the Vitamin C providing benefits for hours, not minutes.
Our eye serum can help support the appearance of smoother, more supple skin. Continued use may help improve the appearance of uneven skin tone around the eyes.
In addition to the Vitamin C, the Hyaluronic Acid (HA) in our formula is a special ingredient that will help keep your eyes young looking. HA helps to deliver vital nutrients to the skin. As we age, natural levels of HA decrease, which can contribute to the visible signs of aging such as dryness and loss of firmness. Hyaluronic acid will also help with eye puffiness that can develop as the skin changes over time.
Dark Circles under the eyes are another concern for those who want to achieve youthful, bright eyes. Many believe that dark circles under the eyes are caused by skin over pigmentation, when in fact, this is a myth. As we age, the skin under our eyes becomes thinner, causing blood vessels to become more noticeable. This gives the skin under the eyes a dark appearance.
