Environmental Impact Award for 2024

Several years ago, we worked with our phenomenal box supplier, Pratt Industries, and made the change from regular cardboard to 100% recycled products. They are more expensive but the positive impact on our planet is worth it.

We just received an Environmental Impact Award for 2024. Last year, Absolutely Natural’s efforts saved:

• 448 trees
• 184,505 gallons of water
• 105,431 kilowatt hours of electrical power
• 26 tons of CO2
• 87 Cubic yards of waste diverted from landfills

This is the second time we have received this award, and we are extremely proud of it. AN always attempts to use environmentally friendly raw materials in our formulas. And, since we avoid the use of harsh chemicals, there is no toxic runoff after production.

Additionally, Absolutely Natural was the first reef friendly sunscreen in the Hawaiian Islands. That state has banned most chemical sunscreens and has put forth a maximum effort to save their reefs. Their campaign started around 10 years ago… AN has been reef friendly for 33 years.

As for componentry, we use plastics that can be recycled in most of our products. When the bottle industry evolves and develops a practical alternative that is made from recycled plastics, we will be a customer.

We encourage all our customers to make their own efforts to recycle and reuse.
