Zoey Naturals Entering Stage 2

Zoey Naturals is a line of skincare named after my beautiful granddaughter, Zoey Elizabeth Richards.

Zoey was born on February 26, 2017, and the naturally based line debuted in 2018.  My son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Kelsey, worked tirelessly on developing the perfect formulas for the product with copious research and constant testing. 

They put together a wonderful and comprehensive line for babies and toddlers featuring body washes, lotions, oils, butter, conditioner, hair detangler and a renown diaper rash cream that many customers refer to as our “hero” product.

The distribution plan was to concentrate on privately owned boutiques and before long Zoey was in around 75 stores across the nation.  It was a great start, and the company was represented by a dozen or so long-time reps who worked closely with the accounts and did frequent visits and training with store personnel. 

Then Covid hit.  No more store visits.  No more one-on-one training.  A lot of stores closed and the ones who stayed open suffered greatly.  And the occasional phone calls from reps were not as effective as the original game plan.

But, instead of folding the tent, Danny and Kelsey pressed on.  Zoey Naturals appeared at the ABC Kids Show and was the rising new star.  Inquiries started coming from all over.  The company was able to hire Jean Mathis who was a stalwart with the original independent reps, and she has been instrumental in reviving the boutique shops and so much more.  She and Kelsey have an aggressive marketing campaign and have heightened social media presence.

Zoey Naturals has contracted with a well-known marketer who has revamped our Web Site and is on retainer to help keep content fresh and exciting.

Danny is negotiating with the largest distribution company for baby products in Canada and has also led the team who placed Zoey Naturals in the reborn Buy Buy Baby Stores.  Incredibly exciting for the company.

But what satisfies me most are the fantastic comments coming in about the product.  For 32 years, we have had one vision for all the products of Zoey Naturals and its mother company, Absolutely Natural and that is quality first.  The loyal following we have garnered in such a short time is proof positive of that.
