I have extremely sensitive skin, so I'm SO happy to be using this detergent. It cleans well - identical to my name brand detergents - and leaves my clothes super soft. It's plant based which makes it feel really healthy, and it has nearly no scent. The container doesn't leak (even when on its side.) The amount is fairly small, but it's actually super concentrated, so you shouldn't be using as much of it as you would a normal detergent. Overall this is a great product, and doesn't leave my skin itchy (I struggle with eczema and detergents can sometimes make it flare up.) This is a great product for the price!
We have multiple people with sensitive skin in our house, so I was excited to try this. It is a mild, gentle cleaner and not harsh at all, which is exactly what I expect from a clean detergent. It is also fragrance free, which is a big plus for us. If you have heavily soiled items, you may want to pretreat them or use a different product, since this feels more suited for everyday, light to moderate loads. I also really like the compact size. It is perfect for a small laundry space or a dorm room.
I ordered this as I’m an adult with sensitive skin and several skin allergies. I’m glad to say that this laundry detergent works for me. I did check it with SkinSafe also and it didn’t contain allergens that would affect me. Not to mention it also gets our clothes clean. I appreciate that it’s concentrated so you’re not paying for water when it’s shipped to you. However, I thought the price would be a little less due to it being concentrated. In addition, I really think it should contain a measuring cap as measuring out ¾ ounce is not a handy measuring cup size. After scrounging around my house, I found a plastic pill cup that measured out fluids up to 1 ounce.
This review is for the Zoey Naturals - Baby Laundry Detergent, Free & Clean – Hypoallergenic Plant-Based Liquid for Sensitive SkinWe no longer have young children but I ordered this since it is listed as an hypoallergenic plant-based liquid detergent for sensitive skin. It is also fragrance free – and concentrated HE formula so it worked well in our washing machine. We typically used 1 fluid oz per wash so we got approximately 32 loads per bottle. The bottle says you could get away with using just 3/4 of an oz but that seemed too hard to measure. I do wish that the product provided a small measuring cup which would have simplified things since my current soap cups are pretty wide and hard to accurately measure. We found that the clothes came out clean and I was very satisfied with this product.
This hypoallergenic baby detergent does what it says - it cleans laundry well enough and is appropriate for sensitive skin. I’m comfortable knowing that it’s free of chemicals. It has just a very clean smell, not a scent per se.I’ve used it only for regular laundry, not heavily soiled, so I can’t speak to that aspect.I wish it came with a cap that could be used to measure out the amount needed, rather than needing to find a measuring spoon or cup to portion out 3/4 or 1 ounce. It comes in a cute jug.
Zoey Naturals Free and Clear laundry detergent has been such a lovely surprise! I was worried that the detergent wouldn't clean as well as detergents that have harsher chemicals, but my clothes come out as clean as they always have. There is a subtle clean scent and I love that it isn't overpowering. Most important, my son's eczema and sensitive skin has not reacted. The bottle is smaller than I anticipated, but I guess I am used to the giant bottles from Costco. It is durable, does not leak, and I am definitely happy with it.
Zoey Naturals - Baby Laundry Detergent, Free & Clean :This Zoey Naturals - baby laundry detergent is great. The quality is amazing, as well as the smell. It is a hypoallergenic and plant-based liquid detergent. Never had issues of skin irritation while I used it. Very good at removing stains, and it retains the color of the clothes. It makes the baby’s clothes super clean, smells great, easily washes out.Definitely recommend getting it for all babies.
This is a nice sulfate, dye and fragrance free liquid laundry detergent in concentrated form. At 1 oz per use it would cover 32 loads of laundry which, at the current listing price of about $25 adds up to only around 78 cents per load.I have used this detergent a few times now in my HE front-load washer and have paid some extra attention to cleanliness and smells on the clothes before and after. It seems to clean well as expected and there were no noticeable scents on clothes that maybe had something noticeable before wash.I am not sure about its stain killing power in particular as for specific stains I would typically use a dedicated stain removal spray instead of just relying on the laundry detergent applied directly itself. I had to find an old laundry detergent measuring cup and measure and mark out where "1 oz" was on it so that I can consistently get the right amount of this detergent. One place where this product could possibly improve would have been including a measuring cup, or a built in measuring cup - but this was an easy work around with re-using a previous cup anyway.
This jug is quite small, but the laundry detergent works. It says to only use an ounce for a normal load, but there's no way to measure so I'm kind of just guesstimating. I'm probably adding more than an ounce. The ingredients are very limited, which is pretty cool. Doesn't have water so it's pure concentrate and must be why it's so tiny, similar to the detergent sheets I've tried before. It cleaned my clothes and they smell neutral since it's fragrance free. The liquid is thicker than water, but pours easily. Bottle says up to 42 loads, but if I'm using an ounce each load then it's more like 32 loads. It removed normal stains, but not more stubborn oily stains. I'll probably need something stronger for my dirtier clothes then. Seemed safe on all fabrics. My sensitive skin didn't have an issue so feels safe enough for anyone even babies. The detergent is also vegan and cruelty free so that's cool. Jug is made of plastic and doesn't say country of origin.
Zoey Naturals - Baby Laundry Detergent Is perfect for those with sensitive skin – not just babies but all ages with sensitive skin. It does a great job of cleaning laundry and I don’t have to worry about rashes or itchy skin after using this. My one complaint is that this does not come with a measuring cup/spoon and the lid is far too small to use to measure the liquid. I did use a measuring cup but I sometimes miscalculated and ended up with soapy laundry after a wash cycle – a little of this soap goes a long way and a way of measuring it would have been extremely helpful.
This detergent is great if you are sensitive to scents. It is environmental friendly with how the detergent is made and is effective at cleaning. It is good for sensitive skin as well since it doesn't irritate after use. The bottle didn't leak and it comes with a good amount of detergent for the price and should last a while. All my laundry came out clean after using it with a decently amount of dirty laundry so it seems effective.
I ordered this because I have sensitive skin, and I’m happy to say it works well for me. I also checked it on SkinSafe, and it doesn’t contain allergens that affect me. It cleans clothes effectively, and I appreciate that it’s concentrated, so you’re not paying for water.I do think it should include a measuring cap, since measuring ¾ oz isn’t very convenient. I ended using a cap from my prior jug, which works perfectly,
I’ve been using this detergent for my family’s laundry, and I love how gentle it is on sensitive skin. My little one is prone to irritation, and since switching to this formula, I haven’t noticed any redness or reactions. It cleans surprisingly well for a plant-based product, it handles everyday messes and even tougher stains without needing anything extra. I also appreciate that it’s free from strong fragrances and harsh chemicals, so clothes come out clean and soft without that overpowering scent. Knowing it’s biodegradable makes me feel even better about using it regularly.
Great soap ! Easy on the skin . Has. Wonderful scent . Cleans great . Great size for your money . Highly recommend for sensitive skin .
Overall, this laundry detergent works well to clean clothes. There’s no scent at all, which is fine. I washed some of my dogs blankets that were a little stinky as test and they smelled clean after washing. The only bad thing about this product is the bottle it comes in. There’s no easy way of measuring how much detergent you’ve poured, so you have to measure it somehow before putting it in the washing machine. This is annoying and I’ve resorted to eye-balling it. Also, when poured, I always end with some detergent dripping down the side. I think overall the form factor of the bottle could use improvement so it’s less cumbersome to use.
We switched to Zoey Naturals Free & Clean because my child has minor eczema, and I wanted something truly gentle with no fragrance or dyes. It’s been a great fit; clothes and bedding come out clean and soft, and we haven’t noticed any irritation or flare-ups after making the change. We also have dogs, so our laundry isn’t just “baby laundry”, there’s pet hair, outdoor smells, and the occasional muddy mess. This detergent still cleans really well and rinses out without leaving that filmy residue some “free & clear” brands can leave behind. It also works nicely as a spot treatment for small stains (I’ve used it on spit-up and everyday marks with good results).A little goes a long way in our HE washer, and I love the peace of mind knowing it’s plant-based and fragrance-free. If you’re looking for something gentle for sensitive skin but still strong enough for real-life laundry (especially with pets), I recommend it.
This detergent feels very mild and hasn’t caused any irritation on sensitive skin. It cleans well, including small stains, and everyday items without leaving a strong scent or residue behind. I’ve been using it for baby clothes and bedding, and it rinses out clean without any buildup. I like that it’s concentrated, so you only need a small amount per load, and it's ingredients are simple. The 32 oz bottle isn’t huge, but a little goes a long way and it works well in an HE machine. It’s a dependable option if you want something easy and gentle for the whole family’s laundry.
I ordered the Zoey Naturals Detergent because I need a free & clean hypoallergenic detergent for my own. I have been known to breakout from strong laundry detergent a time or two, so I am now very careful about the kind I use. I also loathe strong smelling detergents. They either make me sneeze or feel nauseated from the smell. I'm happy to report that the Zoey Natural Free & Clean Laundry Detergent is just perfect for my sensitive skin and nose. I could not detect any odor at all in the detergent, and I feel it cleaned my laundry very well. I have had no skin sensitivity from using it either. This is a highly concentrated jug of detergent, and you don't need a large amount to clean your laundry. The suggestion is from 3/4 oz to 1 oz depending on load size. It doesn't come with a measuring cap, but I just used a small 3 oz cup to measure out the approximate amount. You can also pretreat stains with it if you need to. This jug will wash up to 42 loads, and that's quite a lot of loads for a jug so small. I'm very happy with the Zoey Naturals detergent. It's so nice not to worry about sneezing or having skin irritation from my detergent.
Just a note, before my review; I do not have a baby or a child, my review is solely on my own laundry.I just got done with my third load using Zoey Naturals - Baby Laundry Detergent, Free & Clean. I got this because I have been itching a lot for the last few weeks and I expect that it's because I'm allergic to dust and possibly laundry detergent. Since I started using this, I have not had itchy skin wearing clothes washed with this. It does not have a scent, which is expected. I do love scents in my laundry detergent, but being possibly allergic to detergent I have to allow for some concessions. It does a good job cleaning laundry generally, however I have not had any exceptionally dirty clothes. A con that I have noticed is I did pretreat a clear oil stain on one of my sweatshirts. I rubbed it in and let it sit for a few minutes before putting it in the laundry pretreated with this detergent. It still left an oil spot that's not as noticeable, but still visible. But on normal everyday laundry like bed clothes and towels, it seems to do the job well. It is completely clear, with no color and is totally transparent like water. The only downside I see is that I've been putting one ounce in my large loads, which is recommended, but there's no way for me to measure as I don't have a measuring cup in my laundry room, and the detergent itself did not come with a measuring cup. I’ve had to eyeball the correct amount. But so far that hasn't been a problem, it has cleaned my laundry quite well with my approximations. As mentioned before, I have not used it on any type of stains other than the oil stain that was colorless and it still looks like there's a faint spot on my cream-colored sweatshirt. It probably would not work very well on an oil-based colored stain, but that's just speculation based on what I've just mentioned. I haven't used it to pretreat any water-based stains, so possibly it would work on those. I will keep using it and if I have any issues with colored stains, I will update this review. I do recommend this detergent though, if you are allergic or have someone that is allergic to scented and/or colored laundry detergents. It has definitely helped me alleviate some of the itching I feel where my skin touches the clothes, and it's good to know that it's a natural product.
The detergent is as neutral as promised with good cleaning power, but with inconvenient dispensing. This is stunningly free of fragrance in the best possible way. I am already a user of other popular free and clear detergents, but this Zoey detergent seems to highlight that the other "free and clear" detergents were still leaving behind a mild chemical smell. I had not noticed this until I started using the Zoey detergent. Major thumbs up on this. The washing power seems good. I am not noticing a better or worse performance compared to my other existing detergents when using the recommended amount. The dispensing is a bit inconvenient. We are accustomed to having built-in measuring caps and a spout that drains back into the bottle. Both are missing here, so be prepared to pour into your own small measuring cup and have some dripping to clean up after. The fact that it is so concentrated makes for some difficulty in dispensing - I found myself overpouring or underpouring and then trying to pour back or pour more, with each tip risking a bit more mess. There is a downside to undiluted or minimally diluted detergents like this.If you can live with the inconvenience in dispensing, this is the most neutral smelling detergent I've ever used.
