It’s us versus them.

Sulfates versus plant based cleansers.

Parabens versus citrus preservatives.

80-90% water versus nourishing aloe.

Silicones versus anti-oxidant rich fruits, nuts and plants.

It’s really not much of a contest as Absolutely Natural has eliminated all chemicals that can have devastating effects.  Consider these commonly used ingredients by the typical bath and body manufactures:

Parabens

Used as preservatives in shampoo, lotions and most personal care products and can mimic estrogen in the body. Excess estrogen can increase the risk of breast cancer. A study done by Dr. S Oishi in Tokyo concluded that newborn male babies exposed to parabens, “adversely affects the secretion of testosterone and the functionality of the male reproductive system”.

Sulfates

Sodium Laurel and Sodium Laureth sulfates (lathering agents in shampoos and body washes) are irritants to skin and eyes. Studies by OSHA also concluded that sulfates are irritants and are a known carcinogen.

Phthalates

Phthalates are a group of chemicals common in personal care including shampoos and lotions. Exposure has been linked to adverse effects on genital development of male fetuses, premature breast development in young girls and effects on puberty functions.

Now consider Absolutely Natural’s alternatives such as Saponified Coconut and Quillija Saponaria as our lathering agents, Potassium Sorbate as our preservative and nut oils, fruits and plants to make our shampoos, body washes and conditioners the ultimate in healthy products that leaves your hair, soft, manageable and nourished.

While most typical shampoos and lotions are mainly water, Absolutely Natural’s main ingredient is aloe, famous for its nourishing and healthful benefits.

We’ve been asked for years why other companies don’t use the same raw ingredients that we do.  Why they don’t make an all-natural product.  Why they still use potentially dangerous ingredients.

The answer is simple.  It is cheap and easy.  And, a lot of these manufacturers are looking at only the bottom line.

It’s not easy making all natural products.  It is much more time consuming, expensive with far less room for errors.

But, as I talk to our customers from the last 23 years, it is worth it.

Best regards,

Charley
