Word of mouth is a powerful marketing tool.

Case in point is our butter line.

We worked for months to find the perfect recipe.  Some were too hard, and some were too runny.  It was a balancing act between the perfect amount of butter versus oil.  Then, a breakthrough and our “whipped” butter was perfected.

Butter has multiple uses including cuticle softening, dry skincare, massage, all over skincare and softening, hair care and even makeup removal.  Absolutely Natural butters are super hydrating and full of antioxidants, vitamins, fatty acids and even natural SPF factor.

Here’s a more definitive list of butter uses:

  • Hand moisturizer
  • Cuticle cream
  • Hair moisturizer – treats dry scalp and provides frizz control for curly hair
  • Foot cream – softens calluses and corns
  • Make-up remover
  • After shave cream
  • Face moisturizer – very little is needed
  • Chapped lips
  • Massage butter
  • Baby bump cream – reduces chances of getting stretch marks
  • Mild SPF cream
  • After sun/beach care
  • Under eye cream – very little is needed
  • Fades scars, fine lines, and wrinkles
  • Soothes raw/sore chafed noses

Charley’s Butter Pet Peeve

Most “butters” on the market today are really creams.  Companies will take a very typical lotion formula, add a small amount of body and claims it is a body butter.  In my mind, it is not.  Look at the back label … anything that has an emulsion should not be called a butter.  If you see water in the ingredient deck, I don’t think it should be allowed to be called a butter.

Why do they do this?  Not surprisingly, it boils down to money.  It is far less expensive to make a lotion than a true butter, but if our minds the extra expense is worth the added benefits.

Over the last few years, Absolutely Natural has become well known for its butters.  We have several different blends that are described on our web site (www.absolutely-natural.com). Want an example of how much our butter production has grown?  When I first started the company almost 27 years ago, I bought butter in 5 gallon buckets.  Recently, we had delivered to us 5 tons of butter!

And that growth was all fueled by customers talking about our butters and recommending to friends and family.

If you’ve never tried butter because you think it will be greasy or too thick, give AN a try.  Use it sparingly and spread it evenly on face, body or hair.  Let it sit for a few minutes then rub it into the skin.  The result will be your most hydrated skin that is healthy, youthful looking and buttery smooth.
